Some clients experience a little discomfort, especially if nervous around needles, but Botox injections are a non-surgical treatment and the procedure is largely pain-free.

Anti-wrinkle injections have been used safely for decades across the world. Advancements in research and application mean that they are now used medically to help with teeth grinding and excessive underarm sweating.

Botox is not advised for pregnant or nursing women, or for clients with muscle or nerve conditions that might not interact well with anti-wrinkle injections.

Anti-wrinkle injections are suitable for clients who want to reduce the appearance of perioral lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, smile lines, or frown lines, along with those wanting to address excess sweating, nasal flaring and teeth grinding.

Anti-wrinkle injections can be administered in about 30 minutes, though if it’s your first visit, extra time will be needed to consult with you, helping us understand your desired outcome.

The results usually last 3-4 months. However, in our Clapham skin clinic, we would recommend top-up injections twice a year. Due to repeated treatment, your muscles will be ‘retrained’, reducing the strength of the contractions.
